Lyn glanced over at the new arrival with a smile. Private had joined the party, it seemed. Well. Should be fun. "It doesn't matter who you think you are, only who you may become."Lyn whispered to David, a taunting note in her voice. She'd only speak to him for the time being, mess with his head. Get a good anger going. She swirled around the boy with broken glasses for a moment, thinking. Should she reassemble his glasses? Could she?

David waved his hand in the air, almost as if he were trying to swat a fly away. What was wrong with him? Maybe he was sick, or maybe he was just dreaming. All of this was just another dream. The storm, the boat sinking, all of it. He would wake up soon and be still in his cabin, safe and sound. He knew that wasn't going to happen, he felt enough pain in his leg now to know that this was all to real. He was stranded on a deserted, well somewhat deserted, island, with little hopes of making it off alive.

Aand, cue the dramatic entrance. Lynorie paused in front of the two newcomers, molecules coming together to form a hazy shape, then her body refined as her sneakers hit the sand. She grinned mocklingly at the two humans. "Welcome to Espejismo island."Lyn said with a giggle, the breeze blowing the ends of her twin buns. She glanced at Private, giving the other girl a smile that invited her to share the joke.

David nearly fell to the ground as the girl appeared. A gifted scum, he thought to himself. But wait, the Island of Mirages? He had heard enough about this place to know he defiantly should not be here, this place was supposed to be cursed, forbidden in a sense. What was his luck that he crashed on this out of all the islands in the sea?

Lyn's lips twitched, loving the look on his face. It was probably nothing compared to the maelstrom going on in his head, though. "Surprised? You'd better get used to it. Prepare, presume the worst, pretend you know what's going on. Here on the Isle of Mirages, nothing is as it seems. Get with the program." One welcoming speech, check. "Now." Her gaze flickered to the other two. "I suppose you'd care to show them around, Private?"

Kika smiled, seeing the group interact. she could tell already they would grow a bond, they had to be the ones. There wasn't much time left, this island's doom grew more omniscient every day. She wasn't sure how long she could hold off what she already knew would happen, something she knew she couldn't stop.

Private glared at the whisp of wind. "Who are you? How do you know my name?" 'Is that my name? Or my rank...For now it would be both....Why can't I rember?' She pointed the gun at the girl. "Where are we right now? Awnser me now." She pointed the gun forward. She hoped this would intimidate her. Hoped being the key word.

Kika looked over the ocean, seeing as it was getting dark they wouldn't be active for much longer. They would find shelter, and then she would make herself known, to one of them at least. She couldn't afford to appear to all of them at this point, she knew nothing about them, who they were, why they were here, but she could make sure she found out.

"Perhaps we should concentrate less on the who, and more on finding shelter," Jules pointed out, "It's getting pretty dark out." Not that he couldn't see already, now he had the added element of darkness to blind him. He knew he would need these people to help him survive if he wasn't going to be able to see much of anything.

Lyn threw her head back in laughter. "All residents of this island know your name, 'P'. There are few secrets here. And I really wouldn't keep brandishing that thing." She gestured at the gun. "You'll just waste bullets on me." She glanced at Jules. "Shelter is a good idea, but I want to see something first. Where did you first find your glasses on the beach, again?" A half-blind human was hardly useful.

"Just over there," the boy pointed to a spot not far from where he was now. He wondered exactly what this girl was planning, but he was glad to see another gifted to be on the island with him. He had always felt as though he were the only one, no one around him could understand when he tried to explain his gift, they just thought he was smart.

Lyn nodded, losing her form once more. She sifted through the sand, the breeze gently stirring the fragments of the glasses into one pile. "Now, how to piece them together..."she muttered, thinking. A burst of heat would do it, perhaps, but there was nothing near. Some kind of solution... She gasped, shooting off into the trees. Lynorie returned with a thick plant in her hands, and broke the stem over her knee. A thick, clear substance poured out, and she spread it over th lenses. There. Good as new, if a bit blurry.

"Thanks," Jules replied, taking the glasses, and putting them on. They weren't perfect, but at least he could see. It was a start.
0oc: Bleh, short.

"Purely in the interest of survival."she returned, tucking her hands into her pockets. Lynorie's mind was bustling as she glanced into the trees. Shelter...Well, it would have to be a good ways away from the others. This one was armed. But where...?

Private contuied to look at her. "Tell me who I am...Now. Besides. I'm in charge here, not you. You come and torment one of them, help the other. That is favortisem. A leader should not show that. Now come on we need to make it to the high ground to see where we should go." Private may have been pretty but she was not to be taken lightly.

Lyn gave the other girl a sardonic glance. "I am not a leader, P. I am a welcome wagon, messanger, and guide all rolled into one. These guys are yours to 'take charge of'. " She sighed, and shook her head. "You arrived on the island a few days ago, huge bump on your head. I can only assume you lost your memories during the crash."
She began to meld back into the wind. "If you want shelter, head for the south part of the island. Plenty of room there to build as you wish." And no other inhabitants, Lynorie added silently.

South Island? How were they going to get there....... Not through her forest, Kika wouldn't have it. Perhaps she should just show herself now, get it all over with. But no, she knew what had happened last time she did that, she was almost taken back to England to be studied. These people who had landed on her island would have to be watched before she could trust them.

Exactly how are we going to get to this Southern area?" David asked, "What exactly is over there?" He really didn't feel comfortable going anywhere on this island that he didn't already know about. Anything could be a trap, maybe this entire thing was a trap. Those gifted on the ship could have conjured the storm, maybe they were out to get him this entire time.

Lyn reassembled her body, frowning. "Good point..."she trailed off, staring at the group. There were too many to take with her, and they certaintly couldn't go through the forest. She scratched her head. "Uhm..." Her eyes flickered to the trees as if they could yield an answer.

Kika sighed, knowing they would have to go through the forest. She concentrated, and a bright orange flower opened up near the group, it was a sign for Lynorie. She figured since the girl had been on this island for quite some time she would understand what Kika wanted. She was to come by her, but not to make it obvious to the others. She still didn't want anyone to know about her presence.
